One of the anchors of The Plantation House is its affinity and affiliation with world-class golf. Fronting the fairways of the famed Plantation Course, The Plantation House has become an iconic fixture in the golf world as one of the finest golf clubhouse dining experiences in the world today. The course, long ranked as the #1 course in Hawaii, plays home to the finest golfers in the world during its annual Hyundai Tournament of Champions – the season opening PGA TOUR event that hosts only winners from previous year’s events. Programs with long time partner, Troon Golf owner/manager of the Kapalua Golf Courses, have grown to include such unique features as the ‘Web Cam’ where guests and mainland friends can watch the action first hand during a special event or function.
Whether it’s a quick bite between “9’s”, a hearty breakfast before taking on the challenge links or a leisurely post-round beverage at the newly named “Nineteen” Bar, The Plantation House is a home to golfers of all levels of ability. An expansion and upgrade of the bar, now called “Nineteen @ The Plantation House,” includes nightly menu specials, extended hours and weekend entertainment featuring Wilmont Kahaialii running every Friday evening from 7:30 to 9:30.
Our golf cart service is top notch and features healthy and quick fare for on-the-tee golfers. A wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as snacks keep you satisfied during your round. A limited menu of sandwiches and other menu items can also be ordered from the Clubhouse and brought out to players. Our ‘cart ladies’ are world-class at customer service and are known for going the extra mile for the guests.
